Meeting with the President of TIKA

On February 22, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) Serkan Kayalar.
During the conversation, they exchanged views on the interaction between Uzbekistan and TIKA and the prospects for expanding the Agency’s activities in our country.
It is noted that TIKA successfully implemented more than 900 projects and programs worth $60 million in various fields during 1993-2023. 13 more projects are planned to be implemented in 2024.
The parties also considered proposals for the development of new projects aimed at improving the qualifications of government employees, improving the education system for children with disabilities, and reconstructing historical monuments.
