On September 26, 2023, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Tilo Klinner.

The sides exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan, the efforts of the international community to prevent a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, as well as on the issue of education of Afghan youth.

The parties expressed mutual interest in continuing bilateral consultations on the topic.
