On July 28, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Ilham Tuah bin Illias.

Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him fruitful work and success.

During the meeting, it was noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan will support Ambassador in fulfilling his diplomatic mission aimed at strengthening Uzbekistan-Malaysia ties.
