On August 10, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the copies of the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Uzbekistan Timothy Smart.

Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him fruitful work and success.

During the meeting, the parties outlined the extensive agenda of Uzbekistan-United Kingdom cooperation.
