On March 6, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Vice-President of Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, Chair of Friendship League with Uzbekistan in the Japanese Parliament Taro Aso.

As noted people-to-people diplomacy plays a pivotal role in bringing our nations closer.  

Minister expressed gratitude to Taro Aso and his team for the continuous facilitation of Uzbekistan-Japan engagements in all areas.
