On September 1, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Zhao Yide, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Shaanxi, China.  

The parties discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, expanding interregional economic cooperation, a series of events to further strengthen Uzbekistan-China relations.
