Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan met with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council

 

On April 14, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi.

The parties highlighted that the Second Foreign Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” has a comprehensive agenda of most acute topics aimed at opening new avenues of partnership, including the preparation for the upcoming Samarkand Summit of the Strategic Dialogue in 2025. The sides underscored that two regions have long been linked by close trade relations, common values and traditions, and most importantly, sacred religion of Islam.
