On November 28, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador of Japan Takashi Hatori. 

During the talks, the sides noted that there are big untapped opportunities in bilateral ties, especially in economic cooperation. The parties underscored the need to intensify high-level exchanges, facilitate business-to-business collaboration and more in the near future.
