On March 7, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Moriyama Masahito. Capacity building and knowledge sharing were among key topics during the meeting. The parties noted that a number of joint events are scheduled for the near future.
