On March 7, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Ken Saito. The sides noted that there are many avenues of partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan in promoting economic ties. The parties agreed to encourage more active collaboration between the different agencies and private companies towards reaching untapped opportunities.
