The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Ibrahim Taha.

The parties exchanged views on expanding interaction between Uzbekistan and the OIC. The Secretary General highly appreciated the efforts of our country to strengthen the role and significance of the Organization in the modern world.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of holding events dedicated to declaring the city of Khiva the tourist capital of the Islamic world.

During the conversation, the sides also discussed international and regional agenda.
