On December 18, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Director of the Department of Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Yusuf Laram.

The sides reviewed the current state and prospects for the development of Uzbekistan-Qatar multifaceted cooperation, summed up the results of the work done to intensify bilateral relations, and outlined tasks aimed at ensuring the full implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of negotiations at the highest level.

The parties paid particular attention to the organizational and substantive aspects related to the solemn ceremony of presenting the International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award.
