On October 13, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev held negotiations with the Vietnamese delegation led by the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Nguyen Thi Hoang Van.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of Uzbekistan-Vietnam cooperation. Particular attention was paid to intensifying economic and public diplomacy, developing inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as interaction between various parties of the two countries.

The sides confirmed their mutual readiness to continue joint work to realize the huge untapped potential of bilateral cooperation in many areas of mutual interest.
