On August 24, 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Musa Dzhamanbaev.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of relations, both bilaterally and within the framework of multilateral structures.

The sides paid special attention to strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue, and the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level and during recent meetings between the Heads of Governments of the two countries.

They exchanged views on the development of interregional contacts.

The parties also considered the preparations for the upcoming important joint events devoted to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
