On July 31, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar Hassan Hamza Hashim.

They discussed the prospects for further strengthening the Uzbekistan-Qatar trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as other topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda.

They noted the importance of the practical implementation of the agreements reached between Uzbekistan and Qatar at the highest and high levels.

The sides also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming joint events.
