On August 23, 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Aurélia Bouchez.

Further strengthening of the political dialogue, intensifying trade, economic and investment ties, building up cultural and humanitarian exchanges between Uzbekistan and France were on the agenda of the meeting.

Diplomats underscored the importance of the full and timely implementation of all the agreements reached in the framework of the negotiations at the highest level.

The sides also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming joint events.
