On January 8, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov held a phone conversation with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation within the CICA and exchanged views on current issues on the regional agenda in the context of the fulfillment of the Confidence Building Measures Implementation Plan for 2023-2024.
The sides discussed the issues of realization of initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the CICA platform.
