On August 2, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov.

The parties assessed the current level of bilateral cooperation, the potential for expanding Uzbekistan-Russian political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties.

They also discussed the joint measures to implement the agreements reached during the meetings at the highest and high levels, the mechanisms of interaction to further deepen mutually beneficial cooperation. The sides exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming joint events.
