On July 12, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan Yu Jun.

Mr. Saidov congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high and responsible post and wished him fruitful work and success in further strengthening Uzbekistan-China relations.

The parties noted that tangible results have been achieved in bilateral cooperation in recent years. The sides emphasized that Uzbek-Chinese relations are developing at a high pace, and the existing potential is even higher.
