On February 8, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev held separate meetings with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Demiya Zuhair Haddad and Advisor to the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Naser Al-Shaikh.

During the conversations, the parties discussed the acute topics of developing political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.

The implementation of the previously reached agreements, as well as proposals to intensify mutual contacts and exchanges were reviewed.

The sides noted the importance of carrying out comprehensive and thorough work in preparation for upcoming joint events in bilateral and multilateral formats.
