Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan meets with the Ambassador of Germany
Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev has met with the Ambassador of Germany Tilo Klinner.
The parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, as well as the prospects for developing relations between Uzbekistan and Germany in the Afghan direction.
The Ambassador highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s efforts to develop a consolidated regional position on Afghanistan, establish long-term peace and stability in the country, and provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
The parties also discussed ongoing transport and communication projects in Afghanistan, in particular, the construction of the Mazar-i-Sharif – Kabul – Peshawar railway line.
