On January 27, 2023, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.
Minister Saidov expressed deep condolences to his colleague regarding the armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran.
He also hoped that all those responsible would be brought to justice following a thorough investigation of this incident.
